mHUB’s Product Impact Fund I is a $15M
venture fund that invests in seed and
early stage physical product and hardware
companies with deployment from
2020 to 2023.
mHUB’s Product Impact Fund is designed to support the acceleration of early-stage hardtech innovation in the U.S. The fund intends to invest in 60 startups that participate in six sector-specific cohorts (i.e., 10 per cohort) of mHUB’s Accelerated Incubation program. The Fund expects to make an initial investment in each startup in the first IIoT cohort of $75,000 cash, and $56,750 for certain fees related to product development, resources and programming during a six-month highly structured incubation (with two full years of support) in exchange for 5% equity in each startup. The Fund also intends to reserve a portion of its capital for follow-on investments in a select set of the startups.
